Things that make you smile :)

within 2 ft of my handlebars.
2 feet wow - they gave you more room than I usually get. sigh.
So...... I know we all know that 4ft is now the law, butt has anyone actually measured out what that looks like?

I did. On my CX bike I run an older GoPro Hero Session 5, the little cube one. Handlebars measure 18" wide. Assume you're riding with your right hand over the white line, here's what 4 feet looks like.

Yes, I went out in the street with chalk and a tape measure, then coasted over with wheel going down the center line.
(slow day at twerk)

Based on that, I had some passing me less than 18" today. Most people who are even semi-conscious of cyclists on the road wait until it's clear and go almost completely in the opposite lane of traffic when passing.

And from what I've seen, Hunterdon county is the best it gets. The further you get from here all hell breaks loose.

Spent the day at creek today with Bob, Fred and his boys.... Bunch of runs, boys did the mountain coaster, more runs, then took everyone to the waterpark until it closed..... Then Bob and I watched class action park and he got to see what a shit show that place used to be.... Awesome day

Frown to smile here.

A few weeks ago my neighbor lent me a tree trimmer saw to take care of the tree in my yard. Piled all the branches to the curb assuming (mistake) the town will come collect it with the chipper.

Come to find out that the town only takes this stuff from October - April.

Same next door neighbor had added some branches to the pile and when I mentioned it to him he said no worry he will bring his work truck and get rid of it

Today at 10am all gone and he sent me his ring video LOL.

Beer will be delivered to his doorstep later. Gotta LOVE having great neighbors feel lucky.

Picked up a new to me camper today. Should be fun.... Until I'm living in it for months with 2 kids, my wife and a dog for months while we have put an addition on our house.
