Another ICE attack🫣Had my first ski related injury in over 50 years of skiing. Stepped out of the gondola at Belleayre yesterday, took two steps and I was instantly on the ground due to a solid patch of ice. Guy comes out of the lift booth and apologizes. Says he's been trying to clean that patch of ice all morning but hasn't figured out how. Slight sprain on my wrist. Only hurts with certain motions, mostly pushing.
I guess I should be happy I wasn't shot.Another ICE attack🫣

Great article. Makes you think about the American economy in all. We know the bourbon and whiskey industry is a bust, too.![]()
The market is 'looking a bit messy': Bike industry insider warns of flood of carbon frames and the effect of US politics on industry
Head of product at Standert says American companies will strugglewww.cyclingweekly.com
If bike companies are having trouble today it ain’t because of the pandemic. All I see are ads for 7, 9 and 12K e-bikes. Even regular bikes are through the roof. The new XT wireless is $1,000 for Christ sake. Everything is more expensive. Look around. Credit card debt is through the roof. Regular, working class folks have run out of expendable income. The used bike market is going up too because inventory is running low. Just look at the “For Sale” thread. No one is buying new bikes, which means no one is selling used ones. Despite what you are being told, the US economy is not doing well.
Old Fashion or a Manhattan Martini with the cherries.
I'd like to think they'd send you a new pair considering it's probably $10 in material to make those and the goodwill goes a long way.$300 bib shorts (I got on sale, but still)
8 months old.
I wear these these the same as my cheap rapha core bibs. The Rapha bibs are still holding up fine and these Velocio luxe bibs got a hole and the chamois is pulling out. Wtf. I emailed them but am not expecting any kind of warranty.

The velocio are more of a compression fit which I find more comfortable for longer rides. But I’d gladly ride in either l.The more important thing, do they feel better than a set of Rapha or Velocio?
Smoked.Always Old Fashioned for me. Constantly searching out the best recipes though these are just quick and easy. Which reminds me I want to order one of these.

So…. They actually going to send me a new pair. I’m surprised. Should I move this to things that make you smile thread? lol.
They’re wondering if these are too small or too big and that’s why they’re wearing. If anything they’re tight. I’m going to put them back on and sit on the bike and see where that wear mark contacts the saddle. And coincidentally I’m going back to Tim Dougherty for a bike fit So maybe I’ll run it by him and see if he thinks I should get a size bigger.
