You can either just start beatboxing, or take your phone out and record it.
Depends on your mood.

in hindsight playing the fart sound thing from my phone would have been classic but it was only 2 floors up for me to think about it.

What's worse are people who watch TikTok, IG or whatever on speaker on the subway, train or bus. Oddly in Japan you are not allowed to make noise on public transportation, you're not even supposed to speak to some lone else till you get off.
 
The corporate overlords messed up and let me know that they are actually monitoring my texts even though they swear they aren't (I was texting my brother about a squishy seat post)

I've done the pretend loud phone conversation about my yeast infection around people on speakerphones to realize the kind of person who does that REALLY doesn't notice you're there.

Worst was one time someone was on speakerphone next to me at a row of urinals where I just kept flushing and then went to the electric hand washer.
 
We have renters that live a few houses down that have no problem thumping bass till midnight on weeknights and till 1am on the weekend. I had to move our bedroom because the wall thumps and i can hear it through my earplugs faintly. I am getting irrationally angry over it. The house has 6 cars in front of it you would think 1 of them would be like hey i have to work tomorrow lets calm down. I can build a fence, suck it up or try to enforce ordinance.

I remember they even thumped till 1 am last year on christmas eve it was really obnoxious.

thats a tough one.

Not sure if you can request local PD to speak to them related to noise ordinance anonymously without it coming back to bite you.

Same. I approached my neighbor who would park in front of my house and let the car idle for up to an hour with his radio on. Tapping the drivers side door window with a flashlight woke him up fast enough that he stopped doing it.

Call the town. If there’s 6 cars in front it’s likely they are beyond the permitted occupancy for a rental.
