Back to the Carlton reserve singletrack from Sunday's big ride. There's a segment I really like that is 4.25 miles of non-stop, twisty singletrack. Set a PR today and knocked 1:06 off.my time. Have a goal to get in the top 10 in my age group and now only 9 seconds away. Should be achievable this year.

I prefer hot hands to cold ones. These bar mitts and some mx gloves are my choice, if ultra frigid then thin gloves under the mx gloves. Worked for the coldest days last year so I'm sticking with it. If you think that's crazy I'll have to take a selfie and show you the outfit I wear. You'll think I was doing iditarod or something.

Almost full moon and it was definitely the best full moon this decade. A few areas of frost heave but otherwise trails were running fast. Took care of a few fine tangles that must have fallen in the wind yesterday. Somehow spent 20 min taking pictures and playing with vines.
