Bonus +1 Dirty Friday
Another stellar morning. Even a crash and a busted goatlink don' stop me. Both screws came apart nicely and I was back on trail in 5 min. Lucky.
Hanger's tweaked, but in way better shape than the goatlink. I didn't need that gear anyway.

Red Shaling it along the banks of the Raritan! I lived in Forest Glen for a year before moving to Flemington. My backyard was those trail. There used to be trails connecting Cedar Lane apartments and Edison as well.

Bonus- none
Phatty is back after getting a new crankset. Miss the sound of the fat tires roaring down the trail and road. I discovered a small technical trail on the other side of town. Started out easy enough and with nice scenery along the Goffle Brook, then became a rock crawl/hop to make it out as well as a swampy area to muscle through. Who thought some minor exploration was possible in Ridgewood? Bottom pic is what appears to be a failed dam. There were crews out dredging in the immediate area trying to repair the damage done by storms(what storms specifically, not sure). Made it back just before the rain came. I love it when a plan comes together.

Bonus Point - dirt.
Everyone was groggy starting out this morning with the daylight savings time. Ringwood is getting busy as the weather is warming up. Ran into the crew from Town Cycle and rode with them for a while. Split off at the top of white to go to IIgenstein Rock. Ran into @JerseyPete on the way down the white trail as well as various other familiar faces. Forgot to take pics but didn’t take away from simply enjoying the ride.
