Another windy day. Just a quick recovery ride to loosen up. Rode the local cross country trails and bike path. I’ve always found purpose built ramps and jumps much easier than hucking off a platform(all are fun though). Now that I have a new bike and with a proper working suspension, I can get back to some of my old shenanigans again. Had to cut the selfie photo session short due to time constraints. The top pic is from a couple of days ago but forgot to post it. Back to mountain biking tomorrow.

I had a hard time with motivation today. Winter decided to show up to work for the day and my joints were feelin it. Random snow squalls through the ride were cool at first then just became shit in my eyes for an hour. I found some random off shoot from patriots that I’ve never seen and it would go from thick bamboo to like groves of grape trees (vines?) which was interesting.... grape berry things were already popping so it must look nuts back there in summer.

Second ride was a burrito run...

if you havent already go take a cool-cold shower IMMEDIATELY that vine growing up the downed tree is Poison ivy
yup...totally saw that y'day....i'll probably have P.I. in the next few days...i could bathe in gasoline and still get it!

Thanks for the heads up. I knew what it was. I did my best to avoid grabbing the vine and I was gloved up. Gloves went in the wash when I got home.

Great ride today at High Mountain with @oobaa47 , @Patrick , @Danimal , Al and George-the wonder dog. George scared off 2 big coyotes which is funny as he’s such a mild mannered Rhodesian Ridgeback trail dog. Warning to anyone that hasn’t ridden High Mountain, these are some seriously challenging trails. Loose rocks are plentiful as well as punchy climbs and features.
