**The Official Fred-ish Thread**

Wow. And I was really trying with that other stuff. Never thought about the cages. I have two matching king ss cages on the road bike, but I like the plastic one here because it expands to fit different size bottles.

Proud to be Fred.

How about this get up from a few years back?

Trying to be a Fred negates the Fredness. Like how Hipsters wear old shitty tee shirts to be ironic.

How does feeling the pedals make you faster? Serious question.
It probably doesn't, but confidence in grip, weighting different parts of a flat pedal lead to better cornering and pumping things on the trail for speed.
@stb222 can I wear a cap with baggies?
Interesting question. I only wear baggies on the mtb and I have a helmet that is mtb specific / has a visor. The only reason I wear a cap is for rain-in-the-eye protection, but since my helmet has a visor, that takes care of that. So in my case, cap with baggies will not happen.

However, I have a rapha Belgian style winter hat (you have a similar one) that i may have worn with a visor helmet.

In general, I think baggies / cap is only an offense if you have a helmet with a visor.
