I guess that is the right approach. I’m trying to extend my trainer rides to 90 minutes as I’m not doing much outdoor riding.

Doing so I find 2.2 W/KG too easy but I get beaten up pretty good trying to do 2.4 W/KG on a daily basis, was just curious why it seemed so erratic.
It’s odd. Sometimes the pacer rides are easy or seem slow and other times the can be more challenging for the same pace level. I think it can depend on the route and how many people are in the group. Smaller groups seem more challenging to me. Maybe because of the smaller draft
