The Guitar Player Thread.

Post this in the proper thread. Had John sign the electronics cover from my Majesty during the Dream Theater meet and greet. Took it home and matte clear coated it so I can play it without it coming off.

Note to self, I need to do this to my DL8 also.

I wanted to do this with Lee McKinney a couple years ago then decided I didn’t want to carry my backplate around all night…. Of course he leaves the band right after 🙄

For the Dream Theater thing they kicked us out after and made us line up in the normal line when doors opened. So we had to sit in the car for an hour anyway. Not like it matters for a show like DT because everyone is just sitting and taking notes anyway 🤣

lol first time I saw The Faceless they played after Whitechapel and everyone went from slamming to just staring

My guitar teacher's new signature dropped today. His students helped write this demo song. The intro was my contribution 🤣

That’s what the teacher does, gives you a clue!! Marc might have a guitar for you, he has like 1,000.
I wasted my middle life crisis on El Mariachis, too late now. I had my go with music, apparently I had some talent with it but could not get myself to practice and study nearly enough, basketball got in the way even though I had a much better chance at being an accordeon player than a baller, go and try and explain that to a 14yo. I guess the passion was just not there.

I was not really planning to buy any pedals for the month... or maybe the rest of the year... but then JHS released a delay pedal with just three sliders... and couldn't resist.

Absolute beast. 27” scale with 22 frets. Weighs almost twice as much as my DL8. But that’s how Meshuggah sound like Meshuggah 😍

Compared to my DL8.

Brings me back to the first time I saw Meshuggah during the Nothing Tour. My drummer was the sound guy at Starland at the time so I got to watch from the board on the side of the stage. Frederick was standing alongside me waiting to go on stage with what was at the time the prototype for the M80, which was the first 8-string ever. That guitar wasn’t available to the public, so I had to wait until they launched the 2228 before I could own an 8 and I’ve owned one ever since…
