The graveyard - post your most destroyed bike part

I hadn’t ever broken a wheelset in my 11 years of mountain biking until this weekend. I was feeling very confident at the end of my ride and rode up to this one feature at a local park of mine in northeastern Massachusetts, a 20ish foot stream gap… welp, I didn’t get enough speed and cased the landing, and did this to my pair of Reserve wheels:

Who can top that for a more broken bike part?

Not my first broken frame. Long time Cannondale owner, have broken both alum and carbon frames.

Mar '20. This could have been much worse. J.R.A. on a climb in Wiss and heard a pop. Thought it was a rock or stick hitting the frame, maybe a broken spoke. Both wheels spun true. Maybe the Hope rear hub thru axle broke again. Holy shit this could have been so much worse. Frame fully replaced under warranty with an updated headtube design.

June 2016 my 2011 Specialized Allez Elite (RIP)

This was my first real road bike and I had for 5 years probably around 15K miles on it at that point. Just riding around with a friend on a recovery ride and similar to comments above heard something weird like a pop sound but thought I ran something over. Went to stand up on a small climb and drivetrain/wheel was all out of line. Pulled off and went to check rear der and found this.

This could have been so much worse as well, the day before I was doing hill repeats training for an upcoming event, and was descending a steep hill pretty fast.

Got lucky as Marty himself personally helped me get a full warranty replacement BIKE since they didn't have this frame anymore, so ended up with a 2016 Allez Elite after I already bought a new Carbon Domane 5.2 (so n+1) ;-)

PRO GRT practice at Mountain Creek about 10 years ago. Hit a cut tree stump hard enough in the top woods section to mangle the pedal body and bend the spindle. Turned into a tank-slapper that spit me out of the woods off my bike and onto the ski trail. Spectacular crash. Sent this photo to DMR and their response amounted to "Holy shit. We'll send you another pedal"

Learned why $20 Amazon carbon is $20. Just riding along and dropped off a curb, then couldn't figure out where the pop came from until my shorts got pinned. Too bad it nearly neutered me, somehow this was the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden on my gravel bike.
