how do you not have a wolf with the red knobs?
I can build my own circuitry to control the oven if the electronics ever go out. The only way to get an oven with manual controls is to spend $5k+

back panel, it's a known design flaw for many side by sides especially ones with a bottom freezer

what happens is the condensation drain gets clogged with ice due to the vicinity to the freezer. The is a heating element to prevent this but functionally does not work well. I've even tried the dangling copper conduit from the heating element into the drain but it's not effective on the long run. I now need to defrost twice a year instead of 4. Also keep the freezer not too cold.

that drain clogs in my liebherr also, but it isn't from ice, it is more mold, and other particulate that builds from the condensate - i have some long q-tips, and run it down there when i remember.

how long have you had that? I've looked at their cooktops but didn't see enough reviews on them to consider.
Many next oven will likely be a Moffat, I don't bake much but the one thing a I really enjoy is a good loaf or chewy bagels

@gtluke - if you get a counter depth refrigerator - you'll need to have a regular one someplace else.
Can't fit a tray of food like in the std depth. I still like the french door design for the 36" models, so the door isn't gigantic relative to the unit.

I have the Samsung in that size and wish the freezer was smaller since I already have a freezer in the basement. Don't you need one of these, just because?

we have a samsung fridge with the bottom drawer freezer and ever since i replaced the little tab that sits in the drain hose where it was freezing we havent had a problem with it icing up, its been about 9 or 10 months, for a $10 fix i cant complain too loudly.

hmm, please send link of said replacement part. And you shall get a kingdom of beers

I found a recall on the fridges referencing installing this part number in the drain, it hangs on the bottom of the defrost coil to provide a warm surface for the water to run down rather than the dripping into the plastic tray.

IIRC it touches the outsides of the hose at the top of the drain hole, but its been a while since i installed it so my memory isnt that clear.

well done, I was told that they had a replacement part when the unit was still under warranty but the service guy said it wasn't covered. Which why I tried a DIY which looks similar to the replacement part but in copper

glad to see it finally available to the public, I'm away for a few weeks after next but I've got beers with your name on it, where you ride?

I had a similar issue with my fridge that I fixed by adding a piece of a metal coat hanger.

yea looks very similar, copper aluminium either one should conduct the defrost heat well enough to do the job. When i replaced ours i had to manually defrost it with a heat gun and a syringe of warm water. warm water in to melt the ice, suck it back out before it freezes, repeat until it drained through on its own, then install new part and reassemble, the whole thing took like 15 minutes (after the fridge was emptied)

I ride all over the place, weekends are mostly north jersey (when i can get out) been meaning to get up to jungle or ringwood for a little while now.

@fidodie @mattybfat @ktmrider whoever. So previous owners of my home just loaded piles upon piles of mulch against the house. I do not have moisture issues but would like to prevent wet creep. Do I am going to regrade.

1) How much below the foundation should the new grade start?

2) Is there a way around keeping three mature hydrangea untouched? They sit in the high bed about 3 feet off the house.

Said plants can me seen on right. inwill shoot some other pics after work today

My range is from Italy (what was i thinking?) - the oven selector switch "broke", which means someone tried to turn it past its stop.
The part is made in Spain, so I purchased it through Ebay.UK. Makes perfect sense. $80 shipped.

It has a few wires coming out of it (it is a 20 position switch, with the light switch built in)

The part

The wires.

A you can see, one is toasted in the first wire pic. Cleaned it up, gave it a quick e-tape wrap, and hooked it up.

And it worked! which is good.
