Does the arm pop off? If so pull it and see if the water passage feeding it is clogged.
I've had the arms off as well as the internal plastic supply line that goes to both trays. Everything is clean and clear. There are numerous videos showing how to remove and replace the interior plastic supply line in these Kitchenaids, but none ever give a reason for the replacement. I'm wondering if the pump just isn't putting out enough pressure to get everything spinning properly.

9 years is about the life expectancy of one of these. The guys that came to install my new Bosch to replace my old Bosch couldn’t believe with a family of 5 we got 15 years out of the old one without one service call. Ever.

Bosch 800 series. Not the most expensive not the cheapest. I also did the Home Depot install and removal I didn’t want to be responsible for a water leak. Good thing because they had some plumbing issues and broken valve handles and it all got taken care of. (Not their fault).

At least 5+ people on here have that model. I’m gonna send in a request for some kickbacks soon.

If we called for a repair this would be the 4th. All the others were under warranty.

I've been happy with our Bosch 800 series for 2 years now. My only complaint is the stupid mesh filter that gets easily snotted up, but they all seem to have these.

The LG it replaced lasted 10 years, and I liked that one too. It cleaned well and had a huge capacity. I did have to replace a few things along the way (drain pump, door springs/pulley ropes, various plastic rack clips). For the life of me I can't recall what finally killed it though.

Whenever we finally remodel our kitchen the rest of the appliances will be Bosch.

Bosch seems to be at the top of most of the reviews I've seen. Are people going for the extended warranty for Bosch? I typically avoid those as I think they are just money makers for the store. However, the salesman who sold us out current Kitchenaid highly recommended we take it as he said these thing all break. We used the warranty three times, so it paid for the Kitchenaid.

I did not go for the extra warranty, I tend to take that gamble on everything except for cars.

I think Costco sells Bosch now, there’s typically extra protection there but not sure to what extent.

The only warranty we've taken on a car was when my wife wanted a Land Rover back in '07. Figured with their reputation it was a no brainer. 18 years later and my son is still driving it with only one "repair" other than regular maintenance.

Had a kitchenaid for 15 years, never an issue, until it died, then it died hard, woulda cost too much to fix. Replaced it with with a fisher paykel.

Have had a Bosch in the basement for 10+ years, no issues. But great support story on that one. Bought it on a Black Friday or some other big holiday sale, but wasn’t done finishing the basement. So, didn’t install it until 6 months later. When the installer came he unboxed it and opened it up said I can’t install this. Apparently there was the indication of a hairline fracture to be on the inner shell.

Called Best Buy and they were like sorry, 30 days return/exchange. I called Bosch and explained the situation and why the delay. They called Best Buy and next day Best Buy showed up we a replacement. Again, great customer support.

Oh, my whole point here was I’ve never needed an extended on any of these (knock wood). Of course, small sample size.

I started reading this post completely confused thinking it was in the e-bike thread.

Always a sucker out there
Looks like he charged you for a part that wasn't used.
I'll blame it on the wife didn't want to fight it out and cancel the delivery. It was at least 27 years old as I never replaced it. They would have received $20 each as a tip. Instead they got a check for $75. Wasn't really worth much aggravation though we all knew they were ripping us off.

Good, bad or who the F knows? Dishwasher installer swore this was too rusty to continue using. Coincidentally they only take cash or a check payable to cash to replace it. View attachment 256313View attachment 256314View attachment 256315View attachment 256316View attachment 256317
The fact that it is used makes me feel strongly in favor of the who the F knows option. It's a $10 part, you don't want to spend money to install it only to find out it was indeed rusted. Unless you have a way to check for sure that is.

No I think that's the used one that they removed (which doesn't look that at all). I'd imagine they put a new one in.
