As most of you know, our nephew, Eddie, passed away last Sunday morning.
We wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone on the board for the offers to donate blood, for the prayers and well-wishes, and the general concern that so many of you showed both of us during this very difficult time.
We were overwelmed at the outpouring of concern, and although we wish the ultimate outcome had been different, it eased the hurt just by knowing so many of you cared.
Joe and I are planning of going to the picnic later this month, and hope we will have the opportunity to thank everyone in person. We both feel lucky to be a part of such a great community.
