Tell me where you rode today...

Take a wild guess 😆

How was the overgrowth at Cunningham? I was thinking of going this week. I don’t do well with poison ivy and it can get pretty ugly in there.
So I only rode one side (210 st) I didn't cross over to the Francis Lewis side because part of the trail was fenced off and I couldn't find the part that leads to the bridge. Side I rode was great, but the other side is the one that tends to get more overgrown.

How are the trails there in general? I grew up in Queens but that was back in the 70's. Did some dirt jumps on my Ross Apollo at Alley Pond Park but that was the extent of MTB'g back then. Still have family in Nassau County so I'm out there once in a while.

It's ok and definitely has a lot of features and jumps, but does get overgrown. If you're in Nassau and it's not too hard to get to, Hempstead Harbor Woods is the new cool spot. The only place on LI with rocks and they actually have huge boulders! Meadowlark is also decent, but that's western Suffolk i think.
