Tell me where you rode today...

They had the jumps open? Was going to swing that way on my way home but was sure they'd have it closed off due to the heavy rains.
So the bmx jump lines are tarped for winter but there's a couple options that look like they keep open . The drop is also super fun similar size to pipeline at creek .

Yes sir , rode over from fort Lee 15 min ride . The xc trails are so so . Parts of it are great but alot of areas are washed out and or just not maintained . Features are legit though, perfect to session and play around on .
Plan is to give them love at some point this year AFAIK.

Last time I rode up to the fire tower from Clinton Rd there was a lady with her dogs in the private property area, right around the swamp area in your pictures.

I think you are ok if you ride through the swamp, but some people probably cut through the private property to get around it.

Start by going up the fireroad off Clinton (it's got a gate at the Clinton end and a sign, I think it says "Terrace Pond Fire Road" or something) and then take singletrack around the private property and end up at the base of the fire tower road.

This works. Take the fireroad up and make a right on yellow (woods road), at some point you have to stay right on yellow or yellow dot, and then you eventually drop down and make a right onto red, which brings you right out to the base of the fire tower road. Note that they reblazed some of this stuff during covid though, so if you end up on some trails that are really, really unfriendly for bikes, then you should turn around. It looks correct looking at the line you drew though.

I'm bummed I never made it over there. Dude that runs the Trail Kings youtube was documenting a lot of the building when they started the DH trail with the drop and stuff a few years back. I kept bringing my bike to work thinking I could sneak over there but it never worked out. Then I got sketched out having the bike in my car in NYC lol.

It's also a pretty sketchy area . All the parking spots on the street are littered with broken glass from windows. Also some trail debris you wouldn't want to fall on .
