Pennypack today chasing my friend Frankie on her eBike. I wasn't expecting the weather to cooperate and allow riding today, so I went out yesterday for my standard road loop and wore out my legs a bit, so today was tiring. And then towards the end of the ride, Frankie went around a blind corner and went head-first into a fallen tree that took her off the bike. She was pretty much done after that, but fortunately it was near the end of the loop. Conditions were good. Minimal mud and only a few soft spots.

For some reason, she felt the need to futz with this small ramp on the backside of a log-over. And then when she rode it, she didn't even use the ramp... Personally, it never bothered me... Karma got her as she ended up straining her back shifting it (the ramp is actually a bunch of boards nailed to a short log).

Don't know if I'll ride tomorrow as my legs really feel fried now. maybe a lap or two at Neshaminy...
