Sunglasses

Right now I just wear a pair of regular polarized sun glasses for protection against branches, weeds and other crap hanging into the trail, but in early morning or cloudy days they can make it darker and hard to see. Any recomendations for glasses with a tint without breaking the bank.

see if your glasses have removable lenses that can be swapped out for clear glasses.

or,

order a set of cheap, clear glasses that you could use for those times in the AM.

Some people just buy a pair of safety glasses from Lowes or Home Depot. Most are clear and under $20. However, they are also more prone to fogging than most sunglasses (they lack air flow). For some, the fogging isn't an issue and it's money well spent.

Go to Sports Authority and buy some Head Raptor racquetball glasses. They come with clear, dark and amber lenses and work quite well for riding.😀

I've got Oakley's. I swap out lenses depending on lighting conditions. It takes like 30 seconds to swap out. But then again, I'm an Oakley whore going on 20 years now.

I have Tifosi glasses. I highly recommend them. http://www.tifosioptics.com/

Although, i think i am going to invest in some prescription glasses. Its been difficult having bad vision and being color blind to see some of those roots and rocks...

I have that fogging problem now. It's ok while I'm moving but as soon as I stop I can't see a thing.

I use Persimmon Oakley lenses in my Flak Jackets. Bright enough for low light conditions and the extra contrast makes reading the trails easier. I used clear lenses before that and I greatly prefer the Persimmon.
