Storm Damage

Looks like you guys got rocked in northern and central nj. 4.5hrs of traffic details here this evening, but with 51,000 njpl customers out, you all had it worse. Damage pics? Any microburst or possible tornado damage?

It was definitely pretty exciting. Wound up with a couple of decent sized branches down, one of which is on my roof, but thankfully no actual damage. Well, one of my gutter downspouts slightly pulled away from the gutter, but probably not going to submit an insurance claim on that one.

The winds on the leading edge of the storm were crazy. Lots of outages by me but luckily not us. No tree damage either, thank goodness. Our proactive tree cutting has been paying off.

Strong winds here a few large limbs from healthy trees came down but luckily didn't hit anything. Power was out a few hours

Last house on my street with power tree hit the line after my house.

I got a flat as getting home from the park from a branch and just rocked the the flat for a half mile cuz fuck that rain, also my tires are shot so time for a new set

I actually didn’t lose power for once. Now that I say that some rogue widow maker limb is gonna fall on the line any minute now.

I’m on Paulinskill Lake. It was crazy here. Lots of trees and branches down but no real damage to the house. Still have no power. I imagine the local woods will be a mess for a while.

some broken branches, lots of debris. lost a garden decoration.
tipped over lots of plants, but no losses there.

It is surprisingly dry - i was just up on the middlebrook trail out the back of the blue trail at CR.

I'm in Byram (Cranberry Lake next to Allamuchy North). No power here yet....possibly 11pm tonight. Generator is banging away. Lots of small debris around the house. I imagine there will be a lot of small debris on the trails and probably some trees down too. Somehow I drove home through it from and missed anything really bad....other than a cross wind that took my little mazda into the shoulder suddenly. Other than having to haul the generator out my biggest issue was finding my garbage can which started up at the curb and ended up waaay down the street in the woods.
