Yeah I can definately say it works. But notice they say it locks out the rear on "smooth" terrain. If you are climbing and bump the rear then it will become active and lock out when the terrain is back to normal. But, I'll take that any day over a shock that's just bouncing around over every last bump.

What Carl said... these days the vast majority of energy loss is through the front suspension; and a lot of those have lock-out ability.
