Sourlands TM - Sat 11/3 @ 9am

How timely. We have a TM scheduled this Saturday as part of the annual "Adopt A Boulder" event. Guess what's on the agenda? There has been a ton of trees downed from our friend Sandy, and the trails need some help ASAP. We'll be meeting at 9am this Saturday in the East Mountain Road lot. The county Rangers will provide chain saw duty, but we could use help moving logs, branches and clearing the trails.

Somerset county will be providing FREE LUNCH for any volunteers.

Somerset County has decided to postpone this TM. Don't ask me to explain the logic here. Stay tuned for a future date. The trails will need a lot of love to get back into shape.

suspected as much tho. the county probably has more pressing needs at the moment. We bugged out to pennsy - couldn't take camping in the house any longer. hopefully next weekend

I live very close to the Sourlands and part of East Mountain Road is closed. Lines are down along the road.
