nice... pipeline bombage. A climb and descend time trial would be cool too

thats not the pipeline but I agree a climb challenge or combo challenge would be very interesting.

maybe race up the pipeline and take the last right to boulderama and down to the lot.

I will try this challenge, nice job BRY

oops...😱 guess I should get up there and get familiar with the mile markers.

when on garmin connect change the map view to hybrid, see the clear trail that runs straight up hill without any trees, thats the pipeline. The route that he takes runs parrallel to the pipeline for most of it but the piplines climb last for about 1.2 miles from the lot

with the OPs attachments start from 11 and go to 5 and beyond

The rules are simple - (borrowed from Ilya)

a. Must be this route. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/59301998
b. Has to be proven with GarminConnect data
c. If my fastest time is beaten I will create a trophy for the winner to be passed on to the current leader.

Map of route is attached.

Did you ride the Huffy? I saw his last trophy so I wouldn't get too excited. Do you get a time bonus for avoiding hikers? Also should include a max speed bonus.

Nice, I think a hard tail and full squish class is in order.

My ewr is made for this trail, weight over the rear wheel and let her flow. Full squish has a major advantage on here....

Why is hour elapsed time for long?

Do you get a time bonus for avoiding hikers?

The time trial is all good fun (and I will likely give it a go at some point), but I just ask anyone who tries this to be aware of the hikers out there. I would avoid weekends unless you get out there very early.

We have not had any hiker/biker conflicts at the Sourlands (like some other NJ parks have), so let's not jeopardize that relationship please.

Thanks and carry on. 🙂

bry is still the only participant lol
we need to have more fun with this

Also, the trail has changed since we put in that new reroute

now that i have strava, i'll give it a shot. dibs on last in the hardtail class!!!

with the new sections, i would assume times will be a little quicker.

I think I rode but then realized I stopped at the wrong place. Also, I think I chattered out a filing or two on the lower section of this.

quicker? I think it's probably slower cause the new reroute winds and the old shoots right down. There are barely any rocks on the reroute 😕 it's kinda slippy at times

yeah if its slightly damp its slick as shit.

kev - you're right. the bottom is super choppy. anytime i go down that trail i have the thought "man i like my front teeth" going through my head. a faceplant there would be a disaster at speed.
