Check out the mtbnj trail directory. It has a map you can click to get directions. You should end up on East Mountain Road in Hillsborough.

Don't make the mistake a lot of people do. There is a Hunterdon Cty Sourlands Park too that doesn't have very good biking. If you google 'sourlands', you might wind up there.

manny great vid when did you get that beast of a bike ?
and just a tip but get low and behind the seat other than that good job man maybe ill get motivated enough to do a video battle with you

ok i just read all of the posts so you dont have to answer my bike questions but not kidding i have to ride that thing, it is made for me I can feel it

Noted coach. Thanks. ORRR we team up and do a film together

The bike isnt really made to pedal up SL but im willing to try with a 32t. It is damn light for 180/203. Supposively can be 35# but I havent swapped parts yet. You have a prettu sweet build man. Im trying to build a 5" like that and prob dump the reign as sad as that is. Or just find me a Remedy. I like the trek floater a lot. Frames are silly slight and effective sus. Give my trek a try anytime. Its sized smaller than most mediums. Ill take on the SL tt soon.

Very well could be but more so I'm trying to downsize and focus on taking some steps in life as cliche as that sounds but true. Hardtail be for sale soon and cross bike already is and one of the FS will be... just which one is the question :hmmm:

nuttin' wrong with a little downsizing.

btw - how does it pedal on the ups? the vid is awesome and the new whip looks sick.

didnt you say you want to sell the reign to build up a 5" bike, but you would still keep the DH bike, correct? Wouldn't downsizing be to keep the reign and sell the DH since it is in between the two bikes suspension wise?

FWIW, all of the stuff you did in the video falls in the realm of the reign and even a 5" bike. No DH bike required. Sounds like the downsizing needs to happen with the DH bike, not the reign.

With the stock 36 it's fine on moderate uphills

I would like to keep the xc to dh in the picture and can deal with upkeeping 2 bikes. I already have the 5" frame haha and I'm going to give up HT since a 5" would do fine everywhere including 6mr. Like you said everything in that vid is 5" capable which is majority of my riding and thats why I prob sell the reign. Allamuchy north for 3+ hrs on the reign is pretty tiring and more suited for a bike that weighs less. The trek is fun on my own and its obvious the trek is better at the park too. Plus the trek is cooler to film! 😀

I'd be embarrassed to ride with you at 6MR on a 5" bike. Just sayin'. What's next? A full face helmet? 😀

Just think if that 5" bike is a trek 😛uke:

Is it obvious I am sooooooo not a trek guy? Honestly, I would rather ride a Specialized.

I ride my 150mm/140mm travel bike at six mile and I also wear a full face at sourlands when I know I'm gonna be blasting downhill, sell the ht and you will have bikes for the type of riding you like to do manny if no one else will I'll ride siz mile with you ' and yes joint video soon would be sick
