Thanks! This place looks awesome. The only thing I have ridden in that area is Cowles in CT.
This place is fun, near the southern end of Rt 91.

Bummer those trails aren’t well maintained. I’d always stop on the drive from New Jersey to Boston or vice versa and ride northern exposure. One of my favorite trails in the northeast!!
Case Mountain
i just parked and rode "a side". No idea which side or where i parked though. The Case Mountain map always intimidated me. It seems like Allaire but on steroids. Never knew how to pick that one apart so I never stopped to ride there.
I rode Rockland for the first time about 5 weeks ago on @Norm recommendation, and it was a lot of fun. I echo @phillychris498 sentiments on the Northern Exposure trail...it was just a lot of fun. I will definitely put Rockland Preserve on my list when doing that drive again.Bummer those trails aren’t well maintained. I rode case once and it was cool but I was following someone. It seemed like a maze the whole time I was back there. It was definitely more flowy cross country style single track than rockland. The Case Mountain map always intimidated me. It seems like Allaire but on steroids. Never knew how to pick that one apart so I never stopped to ride there.

Worth the stop! It was a notch above the technicality of northern exposure if I remember correctly. Beat me up.Was always on my radar but I never made it there.
That’s a good comparison. It’s not bad, but the trails go every which way.The Case Mountain map always intimidated me. It seems like Allaire but on steroids. Never knew how to pick that one apart so I never stopped to ride there.
Nepaug isn’t too far off 91. It’s legal now, so I feel like I can talk about it. It’s the best spot in CT.
