Somewhere near route 91

I'm a fan of Rockland, as @rottin' can attest. But the past 2 years they have not been doing a great job with the upkeep of the place.

@Feibs - if you decide to go to Rockland I can suggest a route as I have ridden there a bunch of times. Cowles only once, so I do not know it much at all.
Bummer those trails aren’t well maintained. I’d always stop on the drive from New Jersey to Boston or vice versa and ride northern exposure. One of my favorite trails in the northeast!!

The Case Mountain map always intimidated me. It seems like Allaire but on steroids. Never knew how to pick that one apart so I never stopped to ride there.
i just parked and rode "a side". No idea which side or where i parked though.

I rode Rockland for the first time about 5 weeks ago on @Norm recommendation, and it was a lot of fun. I echo @phillychris498 sentiments on the Northern Exposure trail...it was just a lot of fun. I will definitely put Rockland Preserve on my list when doing that drive again.

Rockland and Cowles are both a bunch of fun. There is another trail near west springfield that isn't half bad. Up in Mass, find Earl's Trails (fun fast hilly) or Mt Holyoke (gnar).

I rode case once and it was cool but I was following someone. It seemed like a maze the whole time I was back there. It was definitely more flowy cross country style single track than rockland.

There’s another spot close to rockland called millers pond. I only remember one or two blazed trails there, but it was a really cool loop. Pretty technical single track back there, I would say it was a bit more technical than rockland.

Awesome guys! I head up that way often and need places on the way. I will hit Cowles on the way up and Rockland on the way back. Thanks for the recommendations!

That’s a good comparison. It’s not bad, but the trails go every which way.

Nepaug isn’t too far off 91. It’s legal now, so I feel like I can talk about it. It’s the best spot in CT.

After you mentioned it previously, I followed their IG account. Some serious shit going on over there.
