See Ilya! WTF is going on!?

Colin,

Call those bums that run the satellites and tell them to get their shit together. Don't they know how important this is?!?

I'm not sure what is going on with my moving time? I stopped at middlebush both times and I stopped to let a snake cross the trail.

Is your gadget set to auto-pause when stopped or no? My guess is that it's not (go to training/auto pause to set). That would mean your clock keeps running even if you're stopped, lowering your average mph, and obviously suppressing moving time, which is used to rank you here. You're probably 2 mins better or so.

Now you have to redo!

tony's run by the numbers

27 > middlebrush 19min
the lollipop loop 34min
middlebush back to 27 > 21min

crazy!!!

i think we should put a camera on him so we can all learn how to be faster.

The one thing I can say is he is not on the brakes thru turns... He for sure prefers weighting the rear tire while cornering

Where is your run martin?

I'm ONLY seven minutes behind him at the road crossing on the way back 😉

Second time at Six Mile

Kush,

This is my second time riding this trail

Here is my first time riding w/ my wife's cousins(two of them fell in the water at that tilted wooden bridge after the orange)

AND here is my second time today.

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/43034832

Moving Time 1:24:40
Elapsed Time 1:15:14

I should get 1 min handicap for SS 29er AND
another 1 min for riding this loop this morning

Holy cow. After 24 miles at DP with Matty, you still pull a very respectable TT time. Nice work Phil!

How many cousins did not fall in the creek?

Thanks. I am driving back to GA tomorrow 4 am and wasn't about to miss this TT. I felt a little fatigue at the end but nothing special.

One didn't fall in the creek coz he was smart enough to walk both way😀

it's interesting the contrast between the two trails. Very cool!

hmm that odd. The twistys on the way back are usually about 5min faster

I have only ridden with Tony a few times, but it is easy to figure out how He goes fast. He fing attacks the trail, jumps the rollers, pushes into the corners and berms and just keeps moving. He rides six mile like it is a downhill run the whole time.

Learn to do all that stuff and add an obvious level of fitness in there and you will have it 😀

Phil dudeman I can't believe after almost 2600 ft of elevation in 24 you still had some legs to throw down a very respectful time. Bravo :2guns:

Set a speed threshold on the garmin, instead of "when stopped". It thinks you are stopping when in reality you are just go thru the s's.

The issue is that Pearl's not using a Garmin but an iPhone encased in a pink jewel encrusted safety case with a pop-up vanity mirror. The faux rubies are messing with the GPS signal.

I know I am late to the party but I want in on this one. I don't have a garmin but I do have an acurate cateye and have done the whole park in a total of 1 hour 26 mins at an average speed of 10.6 and a max of 21.4. Let me know what the rules are cause I am going out again today in about 30 mins to see if I can come close to some of the posted times.

Kevin...

Can't keep up with the likes of you, but the Little I have seen makes it easy to figure out why you go fast, skill wise anyways.

A good example is at the one tm day where the reroute right near middle bush was built....on a soft trail you come flying from middle bush and bunny hop into the little downside that is there. Most people don't even see shit like that and you are bunny hoping into it. Props deserved.

Riding that way is a work out in itself... 6 mile is great for bunny hoping into transitions... There are just so many to choose from
