Tapatalk needs to die, but if I kill Tapatalk there will be a mass revolt.
We can't do anything about Tapatalk. But please know that Tapatalk is scraping everything you do on the forum and sending it back to China and sold. They are also rewriting links so that they are routed through tapatalk for whatever reason.
It's probably safe, but it's completely out of our control and the other alternatives aren't as easy for users or administrators.
The database has been throwing a bunch of errors this month, it's not us, it's the host. Hopefully we are getting upgraded or something.

could guess at the link re-write, both good and bad. most likely server-side processing for size/format, and consistent experience across devices. and stealing personal information of course.
