Shimano Crank recall - finally

Yes.... of the two people that I know personally that had this happen.... 1 was on a Giant TCR. It broke about a year ago. He said he tried to Geta. replacement and was denied... not exactly sure what "tried to get" constitutes. The second person, it happened to her over the summer. She had a Trek and I believe she went back to Trek Stirling and I believe they denied her.

I've only had Shimano Warranty 1 pair of Dura-Ace cranks of the 100+ I've submitted. My Rando Partner David's Ultegra 8000 crankset came completly apart during the Batsto 200K and they said it was because he rode in the rain and wasn't covered. Will be interested to see how it goes from here on out.

I've now had one customer with a full 105 bike and another with FSA carbon cranks both drop their bikes off for the recall.

There is a limit to "the customer is always right."
