Sleepless, maybe
I think I will use this thread as
my thread for the next fews days to log my time here in Seattle. So here is the run down as of 1:00 PM local time, seattle (Left Coast Time??)....
Left my house around 4:50am, which I somehow thought it would be enough time for a 7:05, which around a 45 min drive to the airport plus parking and all that good stuff. Cruise up route 1 and don't hit a light until around the 6 mile area, which I will take for a sign i need to ride there more. More being more than once this year so far, maybe twice
🙁. Shit, lance is going to come get me now since I used an emoticon and he specifically notes not to use them in THE SHACK adds.
Anyways, see the sun just coming over the manhatten skyline as I get off at 13A. It was cool until I was partially blinded by said sun and say spots for at least 10 mins. Actually, pretty sure i am still seeing those spots. Get to park2go, which I have used 2 or 3 times before and this is the first time I waited for a shuttle. Get over to the airport and traffic is standing still. Luckily, the van driver uses some little side roads to avoid the grid lock. Just about an hour until take off, perfect. Walk inside and there at tons of people everywhere, damn. Because of all the bike crap I brought, I have a bag to check and get in a long line. 20 min later, through that line and get in this line:
which is the line to go up to security. I have only flown out of Newark a few times and it was never like this, but it was also not a Monday morning. Some of the seasoned travellers around me are saying it is bad, but don't
those people always says that? But the lines goes somewhat quick and so does security. One of the TSA guys has a crazy haircut, but i refrain from taking a picture in fear of seeing parts of the aiport i never knew existed, most important, the torture chamber where they torture all of the
innocent people. Get through with 20 min to spare. Awesome, enough time to stop and support Spence. Give me money to Spence, take a piss and am off to C80. I am walking along, not a care in the world and see the 70's and then all the sudden see 81 - whatever. Turnaround, go back, follow the sign, again, C80 is not there. What the hell! Look again and finally ask someone and it turns I walked by it twice, as it is right between where the terminal splits. Get to the gate with 10 min to spare and the gate keeper scolds me and another lady. I get off easy because a lady behind me can't find her boarding pass and the gate keeper starts attacking her and I slip by.
Sit down and they close the door a few min later. I am sitting beside a young couple, with me on the aisle and the chick in the middle. I get settled and start to admire the girl and immediately notice her toes.
Holy hell, looks at those things! I would assume she was raised by apes and her body adapted with really long toes. And while trying to get this picture (minus flash) I got this one too, which makes them seem even longer.
Since I lack a foot fetish, actually a toes fetish, I stopping checking her out and start to focus that she is moving her legs like she is doing a roll with a double bass pedal and she pretty much does that the whole time but it doesnt bother me since she loojks crazy and it just fits with a crazy person with really long toes.
Flight was uneventful and for some reason i couldnt sleep, so I worked alittle bit and watched Invictus and The Proposal. So now I have a new found (insert preferred erect penile reference here) for Sandra Bullock sinced he looks much better in that movie then she did hagning out of a bus at 80 mph. Actually, scratch that, I wouldn't touch that with a 10' (insert preferred erect penile reference here) since she has been with that dirtball Jesse James.
Anyways, here I am:
I already goofed since i called into a meeting and am now stuck in my room until it is over. fail on my part. After the meeting, I am going to make my way to a local shop, rent a mtb and hit colonnade. After that, I am going back to the shop, switch for a road bike and ride that around a bit unless I decide i want to ride colonnade some more, in which case I will try and get the road bike and ride both of them back to my hotel. In any case, the plan for the morning is a 2.5 or 3 hour road ride for some hills I see in the distance.:getsome:
