Welp, I'm no scientist, but if I were to answer you sarcastically it would not have gone too far astray from what the AI answered. Basically, since this idea is (at least currently) unprovable, any explanation you make up can work! My sarcastic answer woulda been "things work opposite on the other side..."

im not a space science guy but i got caught up watching the whole thing with about 10 minutes left until splashdown and watched it until the last person came out of the capsule.

I was wondering how do you get the assignment to be the one that gets to ride in the fastboat and be the first to climb onto the capsule to rig up the gear to hoist it onto the recovery ship. Pretty cool assignment even if its not like someone's gonna know it was you. Maybe even once in a lifetime experience.

I know the town or a foundation bought the property a few years ago after the Bell Labs was sold. Bellworks is also another cool place to visit. I'll take a bike ride over there next time I'm in the area.
