Running a internal dropper post on a non-internal frame?

You know you can use a dropper for turns and such , just saying . If you only plan on using it a handful of times a year it's just not worth it . Just install one full time and get used to using it, thank me later

I always thought droppers were stupid and for dh brahs...until i rode one on a serious ride. I now find myself using it everywhere. Lumpy Bumpy/Tigersblood? drop it and gain extra maneuverability. Nassau/6mi? rail every corner like your on a BMX bike
Really, for what a Fox Transfer and lever weigh, and how well they work, except for all but the most diehard pro level xc weight weenie, they make 110% sense imho

Once you go dropper you never go back.
When you put it on and use it, it will be a weight penalty you can except.
