When should you replace the brake rotor's for hydro disk brakes? I've had the same rotors for about 6 years. I've gone through about 5 sets of brake pads, but never new rotors? Any thoughts?

im just now replacing one of my rotors... i noticed considerable wear and distortions in the brake path. when i run my finger nail from the spider to the outer edge i can feel the rotor was thinner at the contact area.

im thinking if you can feel/see any lose of material or distortion at the brake path.... replace, otherwise it should be fine
