Robot Lords of Tokyo, SMILE TASTE KITTENS!

Did some rock gym today, light stuff. I hurt my back climbing on Saturday but I think I just pulled something. It wasn't my chronic back problem. Felt fine today but I'm going tomrrow again with my wife, Utah, Eileen, Aaron, and a bunch of other biking peeps that don't post here.
So I didn't want to kill myself today and have hurt arms tomorrow.

Tried to inspect my car but the line was 3+ hours. I can't wait for my hosiptal to be run with that staggering government efficiency 😉

Which car? The Galant?

hyundai today
all 4 of my cars are overdue. they ALL expire in october. how annoying.
the galant hasn't had a valid inspection in about 5 years. somehow I have never gotten a ticket but I did lose my family PBA card this month over it 🙂
I'll probably do them all when I go back to work on the 4th, I have a flexible schedual so i can go at off hours. Too many people are off this week.

Well I overslept matt's mooch ride by a good 5 hours. I was going to veg out and play with my new camera. Wifey went to NYC to a museum with my friend.
But it was beautiful out so I half assed strapped he camera to my helmet and did like 10 mils in my local trails. Need a name for them I can use here. It's original name started with Turk but that word as dropped 100 years ago but hat name sucks. Hmm

I'll post the video later. I'm actually waiting to watch the original author of Robot Lords of Tokyo
back is already killing. I have a horrible time standing still for extended periods.

Wow, I was really off my wagon yesterday. I worked a wedding and ate so much food that I still feel gross this morning. Ugg
food was sooooo good though.

Forgot to hit reply to a thread I typed out yesterday. heh.
Saturday, rock gym.
Sunday, rocky gym party! Bunch of us bikers went.

You are still running the 80 mm lefty correct? I'm curious to hearing your thoughts after gaining another 30mm and slackening it up a bit. Do you still find the HA too steep or did it just take a while to get used to it?

With that shim Utah made it's not terrible, but it is scarey going fast. Slow stuff is awesome though.
I need to pester JDog about when the longer fork is coming in 😉

Update:
Today I did the rock gym.
And "soaking wet" I'm now 176lbs, 10lbs heavier than when I started this thread.
Win!
And I swear my arms are about an inch bigger, rock climbing has put some meat on my upper body.

I suck at updating this since I'm not riding that much. On the 6th I rode like 10 miles in the snow, but that was my video.
On Friday I did the rock gym, also on Sunday.

I put my epic back together and fixed the fork finally.
I need set of 26" tires for it, the ones I have are shredded and wont' hold air.

I think full suspension would be a lot better in the snow. Running like 5 psi in the tires would be a lot safer if I had some suspension.

And the riding position on my 29er sucks for 3+ hour rides.

I did full loops at the Jester's Court today and yesterday. It's like 9 miles but I'm getting faster and faster at running it. I'm a little concerned with how much I like riding my epic again. But, the brain is fucked AGAIN so it's going back to the shop for I think the 6th? Brain repair.

I keep eating too much again though. I need to get back on that wagon.

Ok, im sure the rock gym is increasing your arm strength, but how do you know you added 10lbs of muscle as opposed to 10lbs of burrito grease? Are you checking you body fat percentage? Because adding 10lbs of muscle in a month is pretty friggin hard.

This is what I was reffering to. That sounds to me like you are implying that climbing has added 10lbs of muscle on you. Im not trying to argue with you, im sure climbing is making you stronger. All im asking is if you have been checking you body fat % or are you just assuming that you are 10lbs heavier because of muscle?

The brain is a lost cause, when it comes back just sell the frame and get yourself something reliable, especially considering you also own a Lefty!!

You need a back-up, back-up bike😀

I have my sterling high gear purchased rockhopper still. It's nice, disc and recon race. I keep flat pedals on it for tooling around.

Utah I think I worded that weird. I was 10 pounds heavier when I started the thread. J was 186 and now I'm 178 ish, I saw 176 once. But my muscles in my arms feel a lot bigger. My legs are huge compared to last year.
