Robbed again

No question, you have to move. You have been marked at this point. Next time you may be home when it happens - and it will - and could be much worse. There has been a rise in this type of activity in north-east Jersey. There are a few homes in my town that get hit once every few years because the owners are known to keep nice things at home. Last week they stole a car up the street from me and it turns out they got the valet key over a year ago when they stole the other car from the same house!

Yes I do need to move. What really sucks is that I do like where I live! And my riding buddies are all close by. But chances are that I’ll leave the area. Not sure where at this point. As I mentioned before I still have my single speed (unless they came back for that today while I’m at work). And over at a friends house is my old Specialized Epic comp with a broken brain that is a match for my broken heart. ugh! I haven't riden that in bike in 2 years. I never fully recovered from the first break in so this one is gonna take a while to get past.

It's one thing to have your space violated and your personal possessions taken from you. It's a whole other thing when your passion is stolen.
 
Taylor, sorry to hear what happened. I'm in real estate and live in Clifton in a huge condo complex on Grove St. right next to Montclair.. I can check if my complex has any rentals for you. Their are plenty of 1 bedrooms that are about 700Sq. ft. and also comes with a basement storage unit. Pm me if your interested..
 
Sorry to hear the bad news.WhenI was on jury duty the theives lived in the same apt building and unloaded the goods at a pawn shop and a second hand store.

Scum bags! I only read your first post. I feel terrible for you, hopefully something good will come of this. Did you ever think about locking your bikes up? Can you have a dog at your place? Like a Doberman? So sad

ps: I wish I had a bike shop, I'd glady give you new bikes for cost! Hint Hint 🙂
