Pump Track Proposal in Hunterdon County

Hi All,

My husband Bob had a phone conversation with the Chair of the Alexandria Park Commission

(Paul) regarding building a pump track in the park. Paul was very

interested in the idea and would like me to present a proposal next Tuesday

(7/14/09 at 7:30 pm).

He and I wanted to reach out to the cycling community for some assistance. Please

let me know if you are interested in supporting this proposal by attending the

meeting. The more positive influence from the biking community that we can

display will hopefully promote acceptance of the plan. I have included the

address of the park which is located in Alexandria Township in Hunterdon

County. The meeting will be held in the main building. Let me know if we can

expect you so we have an idea of the head count.

For anyone interested in joining the meeting for pump track proposal at Alexandria Park, here are directions:

Rt 78 West
Take exit 15
Make left at end of ramp onto Rt 513 S
Continue on 513 S for about 4 miles
Make right at first traffic light which is still Rt 513 S
(the light is directly after Pittstown Inn)
Continue on Rt 513 S for 4 miles
Then make right onto Rt 519 North
(there is a white church on the corner of 513 and 519)
Stay on Rt 519 N for about 2 miles
Park entrance is on your right just past a cemetery

Meeting begins at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 7/14
