I have to double tap to get the keyboard to pop up using the search

I triple/quadruple/mothereffer to get it to pop up.
Search bar twerks just fine.
As @Patrick mentioned it’s the double tap the space bar to add the period at the end of a sentence and then return to get to the next line that fucks me up still.
The temporary solution is to actually type a . instead of double space bar.
