Kona decided to eat a framed photo of one of my granddaughters that was on the end table since Christmas. Luckily it is plexiglass. No sign of the photo.



She is doing her sheepish guilty look. Who could be mad at that face.


Her go to move when she doesn't want to hear what I'm saying or do what I'm asking is to not look at me.


And, here she is in better days from a photo a couple of weeks ago.

I'm planning on getting a second dog as mine just turned 10. MrsQ isn't game yet, so will need to make some compromises

Yeah, it's pretty gross especially because they were just playing in mud puddles this morning. But we never had any intentions of keeping them off the furniture.

yea my wife fought me on it when we got the first one, but when he grew up she did admit that it was the right move. and now with 2 its just not reasonable to share the couch with them (90 and 126lbs) as there would be no couch for us. (im sure some still think we are monsters but to each their own)

And as stated before to each his own. I lost the couch battle with the wife after 1.5 years since she wanted to lay with her at night. but the compromise is that she is only allowed up on command and only while laying with someone. She also won’t come up on command if you don’t lay out one of her designated dog blankets. Also command to get off the couch so it’s a good balance.

Definitely not allowed after playing in the yard or after any mud puddles 🤣. Or a rainy dog walk because #wetdogsmell.

Eden’s 14 and hasn’t walked down the stairs in 2 years and hasn’t walked up stairs in 1 year. It only took 3 times with a leash to get her in and out. She knows the word elevator.
