She still loves to lay with you and get attention like most goldens.....unlike my others tho...she is somewhat of a watchdog. My other goldens would sleep thru a fireworks show 10 feet from my house, or people banging on the door....This one leaps off the bed barking at my wife coming up the stairs. She also doesnt instantly inhale her food....she eats its slowly....Never seen that before from a golden...my previous three would run thru their food like a wood chipper. Not nearly the food stealer either which has been nice....My other goldens would eat anything they could get.
adorable and clearly she loves her boy Bob.

Just watch for the reactive/resource guarding which can be misinterpreted as being protective. She might be doing that because she "owns" Bob. The food thing is indeed interesting most Goldens are faster than cookie monster at a CC cookie factory for sure when they eat.

So thankfully she never acts aggressively, she just barks until she sees the person....then she turns back into a golden and demands to be pet and fawned over.

Bailey loves doing cleanup work in the park, here she’s resting after removing from the trail at Weybly Pond a section off a particularly hard fallen tree…she’s contemplating changing the blade on her BigBoy as it seems to have lost it’s edge, and I lean toward a new blade myself. This dog!
