I keep a spare one of these and a battery for the shifter in my pack. I also downloaded the app to monitor the battery level.

Yeah exactly, add it as a sensor. You can even see what gear your in on your screen if you care to.

My favorite is when my Garmin beeps when I try to downshift but I'm already in the 50T. Whomp Whomp! 🤣

You can search all, but also select electronic shifting/e-bike stuff.
