On a related note, if that actor were to shoot Hans Rey in the neck he'd take out his partner also. There is a moral there somewhere.

they are mostly for show and not for go. they work in certain situations, but are mostly for PR Community Policing work.

I gotta take back what I said about Clifton cops only riding on sunny Summer days. I saw a guy out on a bike tonight, he must have read this thread.

South Amboy and Sayreville both have bikes. The only time you ever see them is if there is a carnival/street fair/large public outdoor event. Every so often you will see them riding around at the waterfront county park in the summer.

I know that there are about 3-4 Sayreville cops that do the WTC-DC ride every year.

I'm in the bike patrol in Sayreville.
We have about 8 bikes, mostly Raleigh mountain bikes. We use them for the things mentioned above and we try to get out on them when school gets out. We do have guys that do the Tour de Force.
