Well just got my new clipless pedals still a bit nervous about putting them on abd riding with them but, if my buddy can do it so can I.

Practice a bit clipping in and out in a grassy field for a bit. I won't lie, you're gonna fall a few times. Don't get frustrated, it'll come naturally soon enough where you can clip out with out even thinking of it.

Yeah what MW said. I rode my first year without clipless cause I was a chicken shat, now I won't ride any other way and wonder what took me so long.

gotta agree with the grassy field also it's good if you unclip one foot at a time and keep pedaling this will start to show you the full circle motion. And let you practice clipping in and out.

Jay just put them on my bike and I have not riden in 10 years. I will tell you what he said to me... just ride and don't think about it. I rode today and I had no problems. The only thing was a simple log crossing I got nervous cause ofthe the clips and I panic. I almost went down. I then got mad at myself; I remember what Yoda Jay said .... I turn around and hit again not thinking about the pedals at all. All I could say after that I love my pedals! Just don't think whenever you need your foot it will be there.

replacing my 15+ SPDs with a new shiny pair of XT pedals, should get them by tuesday.

well I put the new clipless pedals on and rode it around for a while today and I think I really like them. Have them set loose for now till I get use to them but, so far I'm digging the extra power I get from them.

:hmmm:Clipless...funny I never had a problem keeping my feet on the pedals, guess must be a common thing when you start getting older sort of like needing Viagara:popcorn:
