Pedal help

For the life of me I can not find an L or R on these pedals. They've been sitting in my parts bin for a few years and I want to mount them on my commuting bike. Should I assume, going by the logos that the left is the left and the right in the right(looking down from riding position)? Fanks.

The right pedal will have a right-hand thread and the left will have a left-hand thread.

When you look at the pedals from the end, you'll notice a trapezoidal shape. The top of the pedal on each side will point towards the front of the bike. Many enduro and DH style clipless pedals are the same way.

I don't know but I can just look at the way the threads are cut and see which is right or left.

Yeah, this.

In the picture in the first post, the right pedal is your drive-side. If you still have them sitting there, this is the answer. If not, here is a 100% graphically accurate representation:

Treads angled generally like this are drive side:

And non-drive side are generaly angled this way:

If you can't tell the difference, it's because you're old and your eyesight sucks. Either grab the readers or give them to your kid and ask which way they angle.
