Is the Cobb knob now being threaded for the MS3? Last I checked, they still had it only available for Subies.

I find the metal on top of the OEM knob returns quickly enough to a useable condition, for me at least, on hot days.
 
yeap they have it threaded for ms3 now =] so it'll be nice and tight fitting unlike my current generic "soft plastic make your own thread"

what about cold days though chris? are you on msf.org? any mods? mine is an 09 sort of bolted
