I have two pairs specialized 43's that fit like a glove, do these size similiarly?

Does the separation of the sole effect the integrity of the shoe? As in does it allow water/wind/coldness inside? I'm interested if they are still solid and all I have to do is throw some glue in there, and of course if they fit. Too bad you retired from cross, it would be an easy transaction 😛

I'm a 9 in a regular sneaker. My Specialized shoes are a 42. I'm a 43 in Shimano. The Pearl is a tighter than my 43 MW80.
