Park Rat Thread

Strange... i tried to find a yt vid showing what stigmata looks like but no one has one. Is it that treacherous? I'm looking for a challenge this season...
There was a race years ago with that big roller as part of the course. I believe it was raining too. The story goes that they ran out of stretchers and had to reroute the course. Stigmata was permanently closed after that.

That is until now. They've been working like mad to move rocks and add dirt so the trail is more manageable (and safe).

good friend used to work there 15+ years ago. They built the bridge, then stained it to preserve it, made it super slick then it rained for the first race. "I was pulling bodies off the course"

That roller is quite steep. Even the go-around (if it's still there) is sketchy.

The flat wood bridge that turns with no banking does look terrifying and the stall mat stapled to it wont be long for this world.

Would still hit it tho.

On the Trail map it's tagged as "Pro Line" - the only natural terrain trail with that designation.

The MCBP post hinted at a upcoming video by Jeff Lenosky riding it.

It's marked proline cause there's no bail out line, The two turns before the roller are the crux. You hit the bridge at like 60mph then you need to hop a couple rocks and make a hard right onto Greenhorn.

Surprisingly light lines at creek this morning. Maybe folks stayed home since its going to be hot today but we never waited more than 10 minutes between 930 and 12.

Dusty out there btw.
