Just got back from camping In lake George. I took an awesome half day trip up to Otis mountain and this place was awesome. It's an old shut down ski mountain so a good portion of the place is Enduro style with a climbing trail and multiple down hill only runs as well as some 2 directional trails that go all over the place to some amazing views. This place is like Glenn Park on steroids very Dense pine forest with rock features and lots and lots of roots. It was pretty challenging deffintly worth a visit. There are some fpv videos on YouTube of some of the trials. And it is on trail forks.

I ran into one of the builders on my way out and he said There is also another trail system right down the road (blueberrie hill) that is very similar that was built in large part by the same guys.

Otis has a lot more chunk, Blueberry Hill is sort of mixed singletrack and doubletrack. The first time I went to Otis it took me half an hour to figure out where the ascending trail (GBH) started.

Nice glad someone else has been there too it was lots of fun. After you go up gbh to get to the very top you have to go up a Clearly downhill trail gbx that was ridiculous trying to climb that one I don't even think @Jefflenosky could clean all the trails at this place but it would make an awesome video to watch So much uphill tech.

@Over the Bars I saw your pics in another thread and almost replied “is that Otis!?” I had a feeling it was, recognized the dead tree in the photos! Did you come across the coke machine in the woods with the beers in it?

Otis is an awesome place. The guys that own it also own Solace Cycles. Blueberry (Joel's trail) is also a great climb and descent. Lots of great riding in the area (Lake Placid/Wilmington) and alot of expansion in recent years by BETA...see betatrails.org . Upcoming Wilmington MTB Fest Labor Day Wknd
Joel's from back in July:

Nice riding at North Creek Ski Bowl too (Long trail), and as mentioned Brant Lake Bike park (theHUB) is fun too.
