I was going to move over my slx 7000series onto this bike upgrade to xt brakes that paul and brett. Only thing I need is a boosted crank, boosted wheel set, fork, handle bars and a dropper. I might buy a bit at a time starting with the wheels and growing from there but I am kinda into buying it complete, idk what to do since if I buy by part I'm gonna spend a shit ton more so I can move it to a fs once I make that move. I want to have 2 or 3 bikes ht 29er/27+ fs park bike and a fattie

How about we all ride Sunday then discuss the administrative stuff after. I can buy some All Day IPS (now that you got me hooked on them).

By all means...I need to see what goes on the fugitive first, and I haven't decided on the full build yet...plus I have not given up on the vintage resto-mod thing yet, but I did get over my head with the purchases. I think I have 4 XT cranksets (two x2 and two x3), 2 complete XT brake sets, 2 XT 3/2x10 shifters, 2 sets of medium cage and 2 sets of long cage XT shadow+ 1p Speed derailleurs, front derailleurs ...you get the idea!

I have to say that after I figured out the issue withe the messed up cage tensioner, the OneUp modified cage and cassette work extremely well together, so I may go with a 1x10 speed build after all. Ah, decisions, decisions...

Let me add to your dilemma... I have a set of Guides R 4 piston brakes that I am not using. Actually... I want to see how the M8020 work out first but I think I like these better than the Guides.

I have a dislike for Sram that dates back to grip-shift, sorry can't do.
 
How about the northern chapter of OOS have an emergency meeting tomorrow at The Barn Tavern in Wyckoff? Southern Chapter can attend via Face Time.
