Eh GC is pretty lame compared to strava. Only reason I still use it is my riding neighbor Bob in FL only uses GC and not strava.

wait people actually use GC as more than a bridge between the garmin device and strava???
honestly the only reason i have an account is so my rides auto-upload thru my phone when i finish . . . .

I would have thought if you pay $300 for a GPS device, it would be able to live track your friends....

It can. You just have to enable livetrack and grouptrack, and then you have to become friends on GC with your friends.

That's what I have been doing til now... and my eyes are going bad.
My eyes have seen some horrible things....
Not really. I think the default setting is that I have to approve you becoming my friend on GC. Also, your friends only pop up on your garmin if they are within 10 miles of you or something like that.

Well then.... you will have to approve my friends request and since I know where you live... ill just park overnight a block away and wait.....
Damn.... but then again.... you would leave me in the dust in 5 mins. Nevermind….
