Its that time of year that early morning rides doesn't make too much sense. If thats the only time you have.... then it is what it is but its so much nicer around noonish.

Once you sweat... and that freezes... you are shit out of luck
You have to dress properly and then try not to sweat too much... difficult to do.

alternatively just keep moving and working so that it doesnt have a chance to freeze, and you keep generating heat as long as you dont stop!
