@fidodie

First, thanks for running with this. Also, I'm already noticing that that the use of Strava has reduced the photo sharing. I'll try to drop a few in later and maybe that will start a trend.

Related to scoring, can you please explain mortal scoring a little better? I'm not overly concerned as I am mainly wanting to participate and hopefully finish Top 10. But, I'm confused how 7.33 hours translates to 38 points (just using my own numbers in latest leader board for example).

We had so much fun in Allamuchy the other day, we decided to have at it again. It was a chilly 9* when we rolled out, but it quickly didn't matter as the climbs warmed us up right away. The trails are in perfect winter shape; just a bit of snow to make things fun and absolutely ZERO frost heave. Awesome time!!

it is an experimental scoring system - it is the sum of the reverse ordinal position of each week.
i don't think it will work - just trying it out.

Waiting for report from @qclabrat
Hope he didn't lose a toe....

Mad props to those who rode today!
Plan was to do the path to 6mr, but no takers so I stayed on the path and tried to make it to Trenton. Came out short, somewhere between Princeton and Trenton. About 4 degrees at the start but it felt colder riding into the wind on the way back. I hate riding the canal path and was terribly bored most of the time. Took the SS, so was able to use my thick down mittens, though too much fill on the palm. Fingers stayed warm the whole ride, but toes were cold all day. I'll need to get artificial heat next time it's this cold. I wore my thickest winter socks and Sorels but still not enough after 30 mins.
