Every weekend, I like to break the monotomy and ride somewhere other than CCC, GCC, and Ceres (although i do love ceres.). I live about 5 minutes from CCC. My question is, is allaire a good enough ride worth the drive? Any other relatively close Jersey/PA trail systetms you guys would recommend? So far my favorite place is White Clay.

Allaire is a fun place to ride but it is not white clay 6 mile is more like that place.
As for allaire I might be there Sunday in the morning if you want a tour I will know for sure later today and post up...but do get the official map from http://www.mtbnj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47 it has most of the fun stuff..

if you have a smartphone download the maprika app. the jorba allaire map is on it and it places you on the trail that you are riding. really cool shit, check it out. if you are looking for a garmin file to follow repost with difficulty/miles wanted and i'll put one up.

this is the map link: http://www.mtbnj.com/wiki/File:Allaire-2010.jpg

Do you ride Wharton at all? Extremely flat, but easy to get lots of miles.

If you like White Clay, try Fair Hill. Similar with more miles.

In Philly, try Wissahickon. Or if you would go a little further out the PA Turnpike, there's French Creek, Marsh Creek or (all the way up in Reading) Blue Marsh Lake.

6 Mile is a ton of flowy fun. Similar to White Clay , some really awesome bridge work.

GREAT recommendation. Used it extensively on my ride yesterday. Thx!

Allaire and Six Mile are both worth driving to ride.

Allaire is one of my favorite winter spots to ride.

They are both super fun after a snow dusting as well...
